Opium Poppy a-symetrical red silk cheongsam, undergraduate mini collection, 2010This outfit was inspired by the English/Chinese opium trade from the 15th-19th century.

A decadent deep crimson silk cheongsam features a split to hip and tea-dyed antique gold satin bias trim. Each poppy is individually hand-painted and hand-beaded with recycled glass seed beads.

Matching choker with frog clasp closure, earrings and bracelet set including venetian glass, resin, and metal beads.
